Even though it's week 10 at our school, we've actually been at school for four weeks, many new experiences we learned. One of those new experiences is creating our Learning Maps. We identified who are the people and places that help us learn. Look at our Google Slides.

In celebration of Sāmoan Language Week 'Gagana Sāmoa', we learned some aspects of that country, look at our Google Slide to see our mahi. One of the items we enjoyed was 'Feeding the Turtles', it was great to see them swim so close and eat pawpaw from the hand of a person.

Last week, only a few of us were at school due to what is happening with Covid-19, and we followed set regulations to keep us all safe. Therefore, stay well & safe everyone.

We're from the East Coast (of the North Island of NZ)
Te Aitanga a Mahaki & Ngāti Porou are our iwi.
Our school name is Riverdale.
Our class name is Waipaoa, which is also a name of one of our rivers in our area.
We're a Yr6 class and this is our final year at our school.
We enjoy using our chromebooks and like fun games such as 'Handball and Wheke'.
